Omani TRA runs telecom user satisfaction survey

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has launched a public consultation on the Spatial Environment Guidelines for Telecommunications Sector Organizations. The consultation aims to contribute to the development of the guidelines and ensure their suitability for the nature of work in telecommunications sector organizations, taking into account the requirements of the physical work environment, given their importance and the potential impact of their implementation on organizations across the sector.

The guidelines aim to improve the spatial environment in telecommunications sector organizations in line with their operational needs, enhance quality standards, and promote better workplace practices. They also provide a reference framework to help organizations improve their spatial environments and strengthen their internal practices.

The draft guidelines include a set of criteria designed to assess organizational readiness through a mechanism for calculating relevant indicators and results, enabling organizations to implement the guidelines in a clear and systematic manner.

This consultation reflects TRA’s commitment to engaging stakeholders in developing regulatory frameworks and guidelines, promoting transparency, and strengthening cooperation with relevant entities. TRA invites interested entities, specialists, and other stakeholders to participate in the consultation questionnaire available on its official website.
