Vodafone Qatar has become the country’s first business-to-business reseller of Starlink satellite services, marking a major expansion of its enterprise connectivity portfolio.
The new partnership brings high-speed, low-latency satellite internet to businesses operating in Qatar’s most remote and demanding environments, including oil and gas fields, maritime operations, and desert sites. The solution delivers reliable connectivity supported by robust backup systems, ensuring business continuity even in areas beyond the reach of terrestrial networks.
Powered by Starlink’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation, the service offers speeds of up to 500 Mbps and latency as low as 20 milliseconds. With scalable bandwidth options, it is designed to adapt to the evolving needs of enterprises of all sizes, serving as a strategic complement to Vodafone Qatar’s mobile and fixed network capabilities.
The agreement introduces Starlink’s enterprise-grade satellite connectivity to Qatar for the first time through a local reseller, reinforcing Vodafone Qatar’s commitment to providing innovative, resilient ICT solutions that support business growth and operational continuity.
