DF1 is now available on Sky Stream, with the German free-to-air channel carried in HD at no additional cost to users.
The carriage adds DF1 to Sky Deutschland’s internet-delivered TV and streaming platform, which aggregates free-to-air channels, on-demand libraries, Sky pay-TV services and third-party apps in a single interface operated by Sky. Sky Stream enables discovery via integrated search, curated sections and playlists, and combines linear television and streaming within one environment.
Reception is via the Sky Stream box, which connects the TV set to the internet. For DF1, the launch extends reach beyond its existing nationwide distribution and supports the channel’s ongoing growth strategy.
DF1’s schedule spans documentaries and factual programming alongside live sport. Titles include Bergwelten, Heimatleuchten, MareTV and the award-winning Terra Mater strand, as well as Quizjagd, Hubble Mission Universum, DF1 Filmzeit and a broad slate of live sports coverage.
