Wateen Telecom has entered into a strategic connectivity partnership with Nayatel, under which Wateen will provide high-capacity, carrier-grade nationwide connectivity to support Nayatel’s expanding network across Pakistan.
The agreement was signed by Aqeel Khurshid, CTO of Nayatel, and Adil Rashid, CEO of Wateen Telecom, in a ceremony attended by Wahaj Siraj, CEO of Nayatel, along with senior leadership from both organisations.
As part of the collaboration, Wateen will deliver Layer-2 connectivity to enable seamless intercity and metro connectivity across the country. The infrastructure will allow Nayatel to consistently deliver reliable, high-speed services to customers nationwide.
The partnership leverages Wateen’s extensive fibre backbone and resilient metro-to-metro network, offering ultra-high bandwidth capacity exceeding 100 Gbps. The solution provides secure, reliable, and PTA-compliant connectivity, supported by end-to-end managed services.
By combining Wateen’s nationwide network with Nayatel’s customer-facing capabilities, the two companies aim to strengthen Pakistan’s digital infrastructure. The partnership will enable scalable, secure, and future-ready connectivity, supporting the continued growth of Pakistan’s digital economy and expanding access to high-performance broadband services.
