Claro Peru has reached a milestone in its 5G rollout, with the network now available in nearly 100 districts across the country since launching a month ago.
The operator said in a statement, its 5G networks stretches to districts including Lima, Arequipa, Chiclayo, Cusco, Piura, Ica, Chimbote and the Constitutional Province of Callao.
The expansion allows more users with compatible devices and Claro SIM cards to access next-generation connectivity.
The operator said 5G provides lower latency, higher capacity and more stable performance than previous generations, supporting high-definition streaming, online gaming, mobile working and emerging applications in education, productivity and digital services.
Claro is also rolling out differentiated plans and packages to help users make the most of 5G based on their digital habits and needs. The expansion reinforces the operator’s leadership in Peru’s telecommunications market and contributes to the country’s ongoing digital transformation.
