The Ministry of Labour (MoL) has launched a new electronic service to register the work contracts of expatriate manpower through the ministry’s website.
The ministry said that in case of any change in the work contract of non-Omani workforce, employers must modify details of the contract of employees.
‘To ensure the validity and accuracy of the contract data, the worker (second party) will be required to review and approve the contract registered by the employer (first party) through the employment contract acceptance service, using the civil card or the mobile phone card that has the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) electronic certification feature,’ the ministry said.
