SAMENA Council Leaders’ Summit 2020 in Dubai to Become Next Destination for the Telecom and Vertical Industries
SAMENA Telecommunications Council has announced that, with the patronage of the United Arab Emirates' Telecom Regulatory Authority, one of the Industry's premier leadership congregations, the SAMENA Council Leaders' Summit, will be held on April 9th, 2020, in Dubai at Atlantis, the palm.
The one-day, by-invitation-only, Leaders' Summit, this year, will bring together leaders and experts from telecommunications as well as other vertical industries under one roof in a world-class setting in Dubai. In the wake of accelerated 5G developments and given the anticipated role 5G may play in advancing other industries and new growth streams, thereby catalyzing new economic development opportunities across established and nascent market segments, SAMENA Council's Leaders' Summit will serve as the new destination for the digital space players. The agenda of the Leaders' Summit 2020 will take into account 5G's growing relevance in treading the fourth Industrial Revolution and how Telecom Operators and the vertical Industries may be positively impacted; and understanding how solutions-based approaches are necessary for realizing 5G's beneficial uses.
Officially announcing the Leaders' Summit 2020, earlier announced exclusively to SAMENA Council's Members during SAMENA Council's General Assembly in Bahrain, Bocar BA, CEO & Board Member, stated that “This year's Leaders' Summit is intended to serve as a call for action and collaboration not only within the Telecom Industry but also with other leading industries, which are anticipated to directly benefit from 5G and allied technologies that are shaping our future. With the patronage of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of the UAE, SAMENA Council, in collaboration with the Leaders' Summit's sponsors, will ensure that maximum participation from across all industries can be realized.
The SAMENA Council's Leaders’ Summit is an annual leadership event, encompassing private and government sector leaders' gathering, networking, various bi-lateral "closed-door" meetings, and panel discussions, held among stakeholders in a comfortable ambience. To be held under the theme “Harnessing 5G Across Industries", Leaders' Summit 2020 will take discussions from earlier editions of the Leaders’ Summit forward toward ensuring inclusiveness of other industries and verticals as the global Digital Economy gains momentum.
