Telecom New Zealand has launched a new ‘naked’ broadband offer for customers on its fiber networks. The ‘Naked Ultra Fiber’ plan offers connection speeds of up to 30Mbps or 100Mbps, with no need to take out a Telecom fixed line subscription. Prices start at NZD55 (USD48.26) per month, with an additional NZD20 discount available for subscribers who sign up for its cellular tariff Ultra Mobile. Jason Paris, General Manager at Telecom’s home, mobile and business division, told Computerworld NZ: ‘The popularity of our naked broadband product has been growing steadily amongst customers since we launched it late last year – so offering a superfast version is the logical next step.’
