STC ranks among the World Big Growing 10 in Providing Broadband Services- Al-Harbi

STC Vice President for Home Services Eng. Mazyad Nasser Al Harbi stressed that the company is working on providing comprehensive internet-related services for, both, the business and household sectors, in addition to providing integrated technical support services around the clock, a fact that helped STC to succeed and proceed ahead to enter the world big 10 ranked first firms, which are greatly growing in providing broad-band services.
Indeed, he said, this asserted the top priority, given to different and various broad-band-related services in the STC strategy.

Al-Harbi was addressing TELESA, the first forum of its kind to be held for communications and telecommunications and information technology's industry, in the Kingdom.

STC has moved ahead of all in the region, by adopting the technology of 4G LTE, as the first operator to introduce 4G related services, thus, managed to consolidate its regional leadership.
This step, followed STC introduction of 3.5G (3G advanced version) services as well as optic fibers services (FTTH), to put at avail a record speeds in accessing the internet atup to 1000MG per second. It was also, the unique and first operator, in doing that.

The 4G is the best of choices for a new epoch of mobile systems, because it promotes the capacity and efficiency of the networks, alike, he said, adding that the real speed of this technology's transport stands at more than 100Mbps in case of data receiving.In addition, LTE technique allows operators to provide fixed phones-related services via the mobile network, Al-Harbi remarked.
