Orange France is launching its '2424actu: le zapping de l'actu' app for iPad on 20 October. The free app is an optimised version for the iPad of its '2424actu' app for iPhone and Android smartphones. It enables anyone with an iPad to access news sources from over 50 TV, radio and online press partners including France 2, Le Monde, BFM TV, Euronews, RTL, Liberation, Paris March and the New York Times. The app presents an overview with 16 headlines in all areas and features a zoom system for users to condulst all of the sources available for a particular subject. The application is free to use over Wi-Fi networks and its usage over EDGE, 3G or HSPA networks will be deducted from the user's mobile internet package.
