ZTE introduces NetNumen U31 element management system

Network equipment maker, ZTE Corporation has introduced its new element management system (EMS), NetNumen U31 capable of managing fixed as well as mobile network equipments through a central structure.

The NetNumen U31 system is capable of integrating various platforms including 2/3/4G RAN, MSAN and xPON, datacom/microwave/optical transmission, CS/PS/IMS CN, VAS, and IT devices covering the fixed, mobile as well as the IT networks.

The company claims it is the first EMS in the industry to manage both types of equipment in a centralized structure and in a highly efficient manner. The management capabilities of the system is present in various layers of networks including access layer, bearer layer, control layer, and application layer allowing users deploy solutions easily.

ZTE also claims that the system can take care of Any One, Any Time, Any Terminal, and Any Where (AAAA) requirements and is also designed to offer end-to-end capability for high O&M efficiency.

Chen Jian, Lead of ZTE Network Management Product Department said, "Multi-technology convergence and full-service operation are posing tough challenges for carriers, and with the rapid development of telecom technologies, they are looking for solutions to help them streamline their current operations."
