Ooredoo Algeria posted robust growth in the first nine months of 2026, with revenue reaching DZD 99.8 billion and its subscriber base exceeding 16.8 million, as sustained capital investment underpinned network expansion and operational development across the country.
The Algerian subsidiary’s revenue rose 13.1% from DZD 88.3 billion in the corresponding period of 2025, while its subscriber base expanded 12.3%, from 14.9 million to 16.8 million. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 7.1% to DZD 43.4 billion, compared with DZD 40.5 billion a year earlier.
Capital expenditure reached DZD 21.4 billion, up 10.4% from DZD 19.4 billion in the same period last year, reflecting continued investment in telecommunications infrastructure and network performance.
Ooredoo Algeria chief executive Roni Tohme said the results demonstrated the effectiveness of the company’s expansion strategy, adding that sustained investment was intended to meet subscriber demand and contribute to Algeria’s digital transformation.
