Digital content platform Convo Media has expanded into connected TV with the launch of Storyvideo, a multi-platform advertising format.
Australian digital content and cross-screen advertising platform Convo Media has launched StoryVideo, a new connected TV advertising offering that pairs high-impact television creative with complementary vertical content cues, enabling brands to carry the story from the big screen into personalised mobile content experiences.
StoryVideo is available now through Convo Media’s partnership with Index Exchange, enabling access to CTV advertising inventory across Foxtel, BINGE, Kayo, Fetch TV, ESPN, SBS, Tubi, Samsung, Plex, LG, TCL, Hisense and VIDAA.
The format pairs a brand’s television commercial alongside bespoke content frames developed from Convo’s Mobile StoryWalk unit. These frames highlight product stories, key selling points and supporting messages alongside the television creative.
The experience continues on mobile, where brands can build on that initial exposure with content designed for audiences to explore, connecting television’s creative impact with opportunities for deeper engagement and action.
Monique Harris, CEO of Convo Media, said StoryVideo helps advertisers communicate more at the moment of viewing and extend the value of their campaigns beyond the television screen.
“Television is a powerful place to capture attention. The opportunity is to make that moment work harder and give audiences a reason to continue engaging,” Harris said.
“StoryVideo combines the storytelling impact of TV creative with supporting graphics that bring key selling points into focus. Designed around dual-screen viewing habits, it carries that story into mobile experiences where audiences can explore the brand in more detail.”
The launch follows the introduction of Convo’s Social StoryWalk, an ad unit that takes a brand’s existing social creative and amplifies it across Convo’s network, extending its reach beyond platforms such as Meta and TikTok.
Social StoryWalk dynamically adapts social video for premium publishers and digital out-of-home environments, giving brands a straightforward way to extend proven creative into additional settings, including article environments relevant to their message.
“There’s a tendency to think that content that performs well on social media should only be boosted within those same platforms. But the opportunity to amplify strong creative extends well beyond big tech,” Harris said.
“Social StoryWalk gives that content a life outside social, helping brands reach audiences across premium publishers and digital out-of-home without complex creative production or cross-team workflows.”
Together, StoryVideo and Social StoryWalk extend Convo’s content-led advertising offering across desktop, mobile, social, digital out-of-home and CTV. Brands and agencies can build on existing creative investments, with content adapted for each environment and campaigns managed and optimised through a single point of contact.
“AI is making it easier for brands and agencies to produce more content. That makes where it runs, the context around it and how it performs even more important. Our full suite of formats helps creative travel further and work harder,” Harris concluded.
