Vodafone Business has launched CyberProtect, a new cybersecurity service aimed at helping UK businesses spot online threats before they cause serious damage.
The service will be offered through Vodafone Business’ network of channel partners and resellers, making advanced cybersecurity tools available to businesses of all sizes.
According to the telecom giant, CyberProtect helps companies keep track of potential threats, including stolen passwords, leaked business information and attempts by criminals to impersonate their brands.
Features will feature Dark Web Monitoring, which searches the dark web for stolen login details and sensitive company data. Another feature will also include ID Guard, helps businesses identify fake websites, fraudulent emails and other scams that could put employees and customers at risk.
The launch comes as cyberattacks remain a major concern for UK businesses. Research by Vodafone Business found that more than one in ten UK firms feared they would not survive a major cyberattack. It also found that 71% of business leaders believed an employee could fall for a convincing phishing email, yet only 45% had ensured their staff received basic cybersecurity training.
Vodafone Business, Head of Indirect, Kathryn Platt, added: “As cyber threats become more sophisticated, organisations need to be able to spot potential risks before they cause damage. Compromised credentials, exposed data and impersonation attacks can go unnoticed until criminals have already gained access.
“For our channel partners, CyberProtect by Vodafone Business creates a clear opportunity to offer customers enterprise-grade threat detection – that is simple, accessible and ready to use from day one. It helps organisations understand where they may be exposed and to take action quickly, without needing specialist security expertise.”
