Robi launches AI Space in Bangladesh with access to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek

Bangladesh's Robi Axiata has launched Robi AI Space within the MyRobi app, giving customers access to multiple global AI models, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek, through a single operator-led platform.

Developed in collaboration with AI platform Every AI, Robi AI Space is positioned as an all-in-one AI hub designed to simplify access to multiple generative AI services for users in Bangladesh.

Customers can access the supported models through a single premium subscription or purchase specialised AI bundle packs, integrating AI services directly into Robi's existing digital customer ecosystem.

Four major AI platforms brought into MyRobi

Robi AI Space aggregates access to ChatGPT, Google's Gemini, Anthropic's Claude and DeepSeek within the MyRobi app.

Rather than requiring customers to access and potentially subscribe to the different AI services separately, the platform provides a common access point through Robi's application.

The model is similar to content aggregation strategies used by telecom operators for streaming and other digital services, but applies the approach to generative AI.

Every AI provides the underlying AI platform collaboration, while Robi brings distribution through its existing customer-facing MyRobi ecosystem.

The source does not specify which versions or models from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek are available through AI Space.

Premium subscription and AI bundles offered

Robi is introducing two commercial routes for accessing AI Space.

Customers can purchase a single premium subscription covering access to the platform or choose specialised AI bundle packs.

The source does not provide pricing, usage limits, data allowances or details of how individual bundle packs differ.

It also does not specify whether subscriptions include the same functionality available through the AI providers' own premium products or whether usage is delivered through APIs with separate limits established by Robi and Every AI.

These distinctions will be important in assessing the value of the service compared with subscribing directly to individual AI platforms.

Telecom operators move into AI aggregation

Robi's launch extends the role of the telecom operator beyond providing the connectivity customers use to access AI services.

By incorporating multiple AI models directly into MyRobi, the operator is positioning itself as an aggregator and distribution channel for generative AI.

This could reduce friction for customers who want to experiment with different models without managing separate services, accounts and subscriptions.

It could also provide Robi with another digital service around which to increase engagement with the MyRobi app and develop revenue beyond conventional mobile connectivity.

Bangladesh emerges as test market for operator-led AI access

The launch comes as telecom operators increasingly explore how generative AI can become part of their consumer digital service portfolios.

In markets such as Bangladesh, operator-led aggregation could provide an alternative distribution model for global AI platforms by using established telecom customer relationships, applications and billing channels.

The model could be particularly relevant if subscriptions and bundles are priced and structured for local purchasing behaviour.

However, the source does not disclose subscriber targets, expected adoption levels or the commercial arrangements between Robi, Every AI and the individual AI providers.
