Orange Polska has signed a new multiyear agreement with Viaccess-Orca (VO), extending a technology partnership that began in 2013 as the operator continues to modernise its television platform.
Under the renewed contract, VO will continue to provide a range of technologies supporting Orange Polska’s TV services, including its Secure Video Player, Multi-DRM, VO DRM and Service Delivery Platform (SDP).
The agreement also covers support for Orange Polska’s ongoing platform transformation, with VO assisting the operator’s move to a new architecture designed to increase flexibility and support the future adoption of cloud-based and AI-driven capabilities.
Piotr Wit, Director of Home Network at Orange Polska, said the long-standing partnership had given VO a strong understanding of the operator’s technology environment and requirements, adding that this experience would become increasingly valuable as Orange Polska continues to modernise its TV platform.
Pascal Birot, Vice President of Sales EMEA at Viaccess-Orca, said supporting Orange Polska for more than a decade required both proven technology and the ability to evolve alongside the operator’s changing needs. He said the company looked forward to continuing to support Orange Polska as it modernises its services.
Viaccess-Orca will demonstrate its latest TV platform and content security technologies at IBC2026 on Stand 1.A51.
