Saudi Arabia, represented by the Communication, Space and Technology Commission (CST) Governor Eng. Haitham Alohali, participated in the G20 Innovation Working Group Ministerial Meeting held in USA, to discuss future trends and policies supporting innovation, AI adoption and emerging technologies, and their role in driving economic and social growth.
On the sidelines of the event, H.E. held a series of meetings with officials from several countries, including H.E. Mr. Krzysztof Gawkowski, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Digital Affairs of Poland, H.E. Grigorii Borisenko, Deputy Minister of MDDCMM of Russia, Mr. Arif Satria, Chairman of National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia, and Ms. Adriana Baravalle, Secretary of Innovation, Science and Technology of Argentina. The meetings explored ways to strengthen collaboration and opportunities for adopting innovation and emerging technologies to enhance economic and social prosperity.
The G20 Innovation Working Group Ministerial Meeting, held in the US, brings together leaders from the world’s largest advanced and emerging economies to discuss and coordinate economic policies.
