The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has invited the public to share their feedback on updating the regulations of the fees for the telecommunications services, aiming to update the fees for the allocation and use of numbers, as well as the fees for number portability services for both mobile and fixed services, in line with international practices and to enhance CST’s role in regulating and developing financial fees.
The updates include the addition and modification of several points, covering the annual one-time fee for each allocated number, as well as fees for shared-cost numbers, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service numbers, and codes assigned to government and other entities.
CST encourages all relevant stakeholders and interested parties in and outside the Kingdom to submit their comments on the document and to support their feedback with detailed analysis and comparative studies.
