DAZN is making a significant push into the US commercial market with the acquisition of EverPass Media, the streaming and technology company that holds the exclusive commercial rights to NFL Sunday Ticket.
The deal marks the full global launch of DAZN for Business, a dedicated platform for bars, restaurants, hotels and other venues, and represents one of DAZN’s most ambitious moves in the American sports market to date.
Founded in 2023 by 32 Equity (the NFL’s strategic investment arm) and RedBird Capital Partners, EverPass delivers premium live sports to commercial venues and partners with major rightsholders and streaming services. Its portfolio includes commercial NFL Sunday Ticket, plus live sports available on Peacock, Netflix, Paramount, Apple, YES Network and Chicago Sports Network. EverPass also distributes content from top leagues including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, MLB, NBA, WNBA, NWSL, NASCAR, PGA TOUR, MLS, Formula 1 and college sports.
By acquiring EverPass, DAZN gains an immediate foothold in one of the world’s most valuable sports markets and expands its commercial business beyond the millions of fans it already serves internationally. EverPass will be rebranded as DAZN for Business, with CEO Alex Kaplan continuing to lead the division and taking on a broader role within DAZN. Existing EverPass customers will see no interruption in service.
The deal also brings new shareholders into DAZN: RedBird Capital Partners, TKO Group Holdings, and 32 Equity will all take minority stakes in the company.
EverPass’ most valuable asset is its exclusive commercial distribution rights for NFL Sunday Ticket, which includes every live out‑of‑market Sunday afternoon NFL game. A new agreement with DIRECTV ensures the package will continue to be available to commercial venues nationwide via satellite and streaming.
EverPass has developed an IP‑based technology platform designed for multi‑screen commercial environments, offering centralized screen management, smart scheduling, integration with existing AV systems, commercial‑grade streaming devices and tools for customer engagement. DAZN will use this technology as the foundation for its global commercial distribution platform and plans to invest further to expand its capabilities and reach.
The acquisition builds on DAZN’s growing US direct‑to‑consumer business, which recently added Top Rank Boxing and Premier Boxing Champions to its portfolio. Combined with DAZN for Business, the company will now serve American sports fans across every major viewing environment — at home, on the go and in commercial venues.
DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev called the acquisition “an important step in DAZN’s journey to become a global home of sport,” adding that EverPass brings “a proven commercial distribution platform, deep relationships across U.S. venues, and an attractive portfolio of premium rights.”
NFL executive Hans Schroeder said the league is “excited to expand our partnership with DAZN,” while RedBird founder Gerry Cardinale noted that EverPass was built to solve the challenge of sports shifting to streaming while commercial venues remain tied to legacy distribution.
TKO Group’s Mark Zhu added that EverPass “helps power the experience for fans beyond the home and arena,” and that the combined platform will benefit fans and venue owners worldwide.
