Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) reported a notable increase in its financial results for the first half of 2026, with continued growth in revenue and net profit compared to the same period last year.
Mobily's revenue for the six months ended June 30, 2026 reached approximately SAR 10,120 million, compared to SAR 9,606 million for the same period in 2025, a growth of 5.3%, driven by an expanding customer base and increased revenue across various segments.
Gross profit for the period rose to SAR 5,669 million from SAR 5,177 million last year, an increase of 9.5%. Operating profit climbed to SAR 1,966 million, up 12.9%, while net profit attributable to the company's shareholders rose to SAR 1,781 million from SAR 1,597 million for the comparable period in 2025, a growth of 11.5%.
The company attributed this positive performance to improved revenue and higher operating profits, alongside maintaining expense management and operational efficiency. Earnings per share also increased to SAR 2.32 compared to SAR 2.07 in the first half of 2025.
On the other hand, total equity (after excluding non-controlling interests) rose to SAR 20,871 million from SAR 19,451 million in the prior period, while capital expenditure saw a notable decline, reaching SAR 1,287 million compared to SAR 2,697 million for the same period last year.
For the second quarter of 2026, revenue reached SAR 5,080 million, compared to SAR 4,828 million in the same quarter of 2025, a growth of 5.2%. Net profit for the quarter rose to SAR 901 million from SAR 830 million for the same quarter last year, an increase of 8.6%.
Mobily affirmed its continued improvement in financial and operational performance, focusing on developing the company's services and expanding its user base, in line with the transformation in the Saudi telecom sector and growing demand for digital solutions.
The company noted that the preliminary financial results for the first half period are available to shareholders via the Investor Relations app and Mobily's website.
