Orange Belgium has added Disney+ as an optional subscription across its mobile, broadband and TV packages, expanding its portfolio of streaming partners.
From 22 June, customers can add one of three Disney+ plans to their existing Orange subscription. Disney+ Standard with Ads is priced at €6.99 a month, Standard at €10.99, and Premium at €15.99, with customers able to switch between plans each month.
The agreement means Orange Belgium now offers Disney+ alongside existing entertainment services including Be tv, Netflix and Orange Sport, as operators continue to bundle premium streaming services to reduce customer churn and increase average revenue per user.
Christophe Dujardin, Chief Consumer Officer at Orange Belgium, said adding Disney+ marked “another major step” in providing customers with the broadest range of entertainment content.
Bart Verhoeven, Director of Affiliate Distribution, Partnerships & Insights Benelux at The Walt Disney Company, said the partnership would make Disney+ accessible to a wider audience in Belgium while simplifying access to its expanding catalogue of films, series and live sports.
The deal forms part of Orange Belgium’s “Trust the Future” strategy, which focuses on combining connectivity with digital services and premium content to strengthen its consumer proposition.
