For those who only travel abroad a few times a year, a monthly roaming package isn't ideal. This is because with existing mobile subscriptions that include roaming data, any unused roaming units expire at the end of each month.
Lebara Switzerland is therefore launching new mobile subscriptions called "Relax," where the included roaming data allowance can be used for a whole year without expiring monthly.
These subscriptions include roaming in up to 110 destinations worldwide – including 42 countries in Europe, as well as the USA, Canada, and Turkey, and 68 other destinations around the globe.
Customers can use roaming throughout the year exactly when they need it – be it on a city trip, business trips or longer holiday stays.
From June 22, 2026, Lebara will offer three new subscription plans – Relax S, L, and XXL – at an introductory price. These plans are available without a minimum contract period, and the discount is permanent.
Relax Mobile subscriptions combine strong performance in Switzerland with comprehensive international usage. Those who sign up for a Relax subscription during the introductory phase benefit permanently from the discount and remain flexible at all times without a minimum contract period.
Relax S: CHF 12.95 instead of CHF 49.95, unlimited data and calls in Switzerland and 20 GB of roaming data per year in Europe, the USA, Canada and Turkey
Relax L: CHF 24.95 instead of CHF 79.95, unlimited data and calls in Switzerland, unlimited data in Europe, the USA, Canada and Turkey, and 20 GB of roaming data per year in 68 other destinations worldwide.
Relax XXL: CHF 34.95 instead of CHF 109.95, unlimited data and calls within Switzerland and from Switzerland to Europe, unlimited data and calls in Europe, the USA, Canada and Turkey, and 50 GB of roaming data per year in 68 destinations worldwide.
The Relax Mobile subscriptions include roaming services in up to 110 destinations worldwide – including 42 countries in and around Europe, the USA, Canada and Turkey (Zone 1*) as well as 68 other destinations around the globe (Relax Zone World**).
Thinking from the customer's perspective
Lebara's new "Relax" mobile subscriptions include an annual roaming allowance that can be used flexibly – without the hassle of unused monthly roaming units expiring at the end of each month. With this, Lebara is taking a fresh approach to the Swiss mobile market and establishing a new logic for roaming: instead of monthly data packages, data is available throughout the year and can be used exactly when needed – whether on vacation or business trips. The annual allowance is renewed every 365 days. If the annual allowance is used up before then, customers can easily add one of Lebara's existing roaming options.
