IQ Fiber, a Jacksonville, Florida-based provider of 100% fiber-optic internet service, launched service in Pinellas County bringing 100% fiber-optic internet, transparent pricing, no contracts, and exceptional customer service to residents and businesses across St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Largo.
Home to nearly one million residents and the seventh most populous county in Florida, Pinellas County is a key milestone in IQ Fiber’s customer-first growth strategy, now spanning five states across the Eastern U.S.
The Pinellas County launch marks the beginning of a more than $100 million investment by IQ Fiber in the region. The network deployment is expected to continue for the next 18-24 months and create more than 50 permanent jobs across St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Largo.
IQ Fiber’s all-fiber network is built on a modern XGS-PON platform capable of delivering symmetrical speeds up to 10 gigabits per second directly into each home or business. Plans start at $65 per month and include professional installation, whole-home WiFi 7 service, and 24/7 live support from the company’s Florida-based team — real people who, on average, answer the phone in 30 seconds or less. IQ Fiber backs every plan with its Stress-Free Guarantee: no contracts, no hidden fees, and no data caps.
To support its long-term presence in the county, IQ Fiber has established a local operations facility at 5767 157th Ave N, Clearwater, FL 33760, which will serve as a hub for sales and technical operations.
To mark the launch, IQ Fiber will host two community events. On Friday, May 1 at 10:00 AM, the company held an official ribbon cutting ceremony at its new Clearwater operations facility at 5767 157th Ave N, where civic leaders, media, and community partners joined the IQ Fiber team and local officials for the official market opening. On Thursday, May 7, IQ Fiber will host a Fiberhood Launch Party from 7:00–9:00 PM at Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex, 2450 Drew St, Clearwater, FL 33765, featuring a community drone show along with food trucks, bounce houses, games, prizes, and live music. All Pinellas County residents are welcome.
