MTN Côte d’Ivoire has outlined a series of network improvements and digital service innovations aimed at strengthening connectivity and expanding access to telecommunications services across the country.
At a press conference held on Thursday, April 9, MTN Côte d’Ivoire presented updates on its infrastructure rollout and new digital solutions designed to enhance user experience and service reach.
The company highlighted the reinforcement of its 4G network, delivering improved speed, stability, and performance, alongside the introduction of a new digital portal, MTN One Web, which enables users to independently measure network speeds and performance.
MTN Côte d’Ivoire also announced expanded home connectivity options, including fibre and HomeBox services starting from 10,000 CFA francs, as part of efforts to increase broadband access for households.
In addition, the company introduced innovative solutions such as MTN Satellite, aimed at extending coverage to remote and underserved areas, and MoMo Soutra, an overdraft feature offering up to 100,000 CFA francs to support uninterrupted mobile money transactions.
The operator also reaffirmed its long-term investment commitment of nearly 200 billion CFA francs by 2028 to further strengthen network infrastructure and support evolving digital usage across the country.
Officials emphasized that the strategy goes beyond technology expansion, focusing on enabling digital participation, economic activity, and access to opportunities through improved connectivity.
