Telkom Indonesia’s data center arm NeutraDC announced that it has signed an MoU with F5 to explore strategic cooperation in the development of managed AI connectivity solutions in Indonesia.
Under the MoU, the two companies plan to integrate NeutraDC's data centre capabilities and managed services with F5's AI security and application delivery solutions to deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready AI-based connectivity services.
NeutraDC said the collaboration with F5 will strengthen the added value of its service ecosystem by providing support for application security and multi-cloud environment management for customers.
NeutraDC CEO Andreuw Th.A.F. said the deal is part of its strategy to strengthen its positioning as an AI-ready digital infrastructure provider.
“By integrating AI security solution and F5 application delivery into NeutraDC managed services, we can provide services that are not only reliable from the infrastructure side, but also safe, adaptive, and able to support the needs of AI workloads and mission-critical applications of customers," Andreuw said in a statement.
The synergy from the collaboration deal will also enrich NeutraDC’s service portfolio, especially in supporting enterprise customers who adopt hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, he added.
"We see that customer needs for application security, traffic visibility, and performance optimization are increasing along with the adoption of AI and cloud,” he explained.
“Through collaboration with NeutraDC, we can integrate F5 technology closer to the local data centre infrastructure so that customers in Indonesia obtain an integrated, secure, and optimal AI connectivity solution," said F5’s chief revenue officer Chad Whalen.
NeutraDC and F5 saif they will hold further discussions in the future to compile a structured implementation plan for the initiative, including technical, operational, commercial, and governance aspects.
Telkom previously signed an MoU with F5 in May 2024 to collaborate on cybersecurity services and strengthen Telkom’s own security capabilities.
The MoU was signed at last week’s Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona as part of a broader series of strategic meetings between Telkom's strategic business development and portfolio director Seno Soemadji and various global technology partners to strengthen the group’s partnership ecosystem in developing AI-driven digital infrastructure.
The agenda of the meetings included exploring collaboration on hyperscale data centre development, strengthening connectivity solutions and exploring new business models based on managed services and digital platforms, said Seno.
“The AI-secure connectivity that we offer is not just a connectivity solution, but a comprehensive integration between networks, data centres, clouds, and application security,” he said. “By strengthening these capabilities, we are optimistic that we can support the acceleration of national digital transformation as well as open up new business model opportunities in the era of AI-based economy.”
