Orange Romania, a unit of French multinational telecommunications corporation Orange, plans to invest more than 200 million euro ($236.7 million) to expand the coverage of its 5G/5G+ network in 2026, CEO Julien Ducarroz said.
Orange Romania recorded a consolidated turnover of 1.455 billion euro in 2025, up by 2.9% year-on-year, it said in a press release on Wednesday.
In the fourth quarter of last year alone, Orange Romania's consolidated turnover grew by an annual 11.5% to 408.6 million euro.
The company's revenues from the B2B segment grew by 14% on the year in 2025.
YOXO, Orange Romania's digital-first mobile brand, saw a 24% annual growth in its customer base last year.
At end-2025, Orange Romania offered mobile services to 9.1 million customers, fixed broadband internet to over 1 million customers, and TV services to around 1 million clients. The company's 5G/5G+ network covered a total of 88 cities at the end of last year.
