Vodafone has added AMC Western to its Vodafone TV line-up, introducing a dedicated channel focused on classic Western films.
The operator said the channel is now available to all Vodafone TV customers at no additional cost, positioning it as a destination for fans of the genre, with a schedule built around recognised classics and lesser-known titles.
AMC Western is launching with a John Ford tribute, featuring Passion of the Strong (1946), Rio Grande (1950) and The Man Who Killed Liberty Valance (1962).
Programming will also include themed strands, including a weekly John Wayne slot on Fridays from 16:00 and a weekend block, Legends of the West, airing Saturdays and Sundays from 16:00. Titles highlighted by Vodafone include True Grit (1969), El Dorado (1966), Rio Lobo (1970) and The Shootist (1976), alongside films starring Errol Flynn, Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas.
AMC Western replaces ¡Buenviaje! – Vodafone said travel content will remain available on demand via the Explore Vodafone TV section.
