Adara Technologies powers BOYCOM Cablevision’s app-based TV Everywhere service

Adara Technologies, which delivers game changing solutions that enable cable service providers to revolutionize their Broadband and Video businesses, announced that BOYCOM Cablevision of Poplar Bluff, MO has now launched its myCatapulTVe® IP Video Solution.

The fully-managed solution enables broadband and cable service providers to add “TV Everywhere” services seamlessly to their networks and/or to migrate quickly to app-based streaming Pay TV services with rich features designed specifically to restore video profitability and to strengthen and grow broadband market share.

BOYCOM Cablevision, co-founded over 34 years ago by Steven D. & Patricia Jo Boyers, provides video, phone and broadband services in rural portions of Butler, Wayne, Carter and Ripley counties in southeast Missouri. President/CEO and operator, Patricia Jo Boyers is also the current and longest serving Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACA Connects, the advocacy association for small and mid-size cable providers nationwide.

Adara also announced that it has partnered with United Teleports of Miami, Fla., a leading provider of innovative programming management and distribution services, and will work with the company for BOYCOM and other Adara operator customers seeking an off-prem headend and cloud-based terrestrial content transport. United Teleports manages one of the most comprehensive terrestrial transport networks in the Americas in support of cable, IPTV, linear, OTT, FAST, broadband and satellite DTH operators.

Patricia Jo Boyers, President/CEO of BOYCOM

As Broadband is increasingly commoditized, Video has become a must-have for operators like BOYCOM looking to win customers away from broadband-only competitors through a One-Stop Super-bundle of live linear TV, DVR, VOD and streaming services Our confidence and trust in Adara goes back almost 20 years, and their go-to-market know-how and financial flexibility truly exceeded our expectations We firmly believe we can at least double our market share by delivering this innovatively bundled experience into the hands of more and more of our current and new customers

Joseph D. Nucara, CEO of Adara Technologies

With the Broadband market more than 90% saturated, operators are having to intensify their efforts to win and keep each and every customer Our solution turns video into a strategic weapon for the Broadband business by providing operators with free in-app ad space on every screen, enabling seamless branding, promotion, and upselling of their broadband services directly to target customers This helps lower customer acquisition costs, reduce churn, and protect and grow broadband market share, ARPU, and EBITDA

Joseph D. Nucara, CEO of Adara Technologies

In addition, our partnership with United Teleports is critical for our operator customers looking to offload video headend operations partly in response to programming transport shifting from satellite to terrestrial delivery, the result of the government freeing up C-band spectrum Through this partnership, operators can eliminate local headend complexity, reduce costs and accelerate app-based TV launches using a fully off-prem, cloud-hosted transport model
