Prima Group’s streaming service prima+ is entering its fourth year with a renewed focus on originals, premium previews and larger entertainment formats, led by the launch of travel reality Asia Express.
The Czech platform says it now reaches 600,000 monthly active users, with more than 300,000 on paid tiers, and has generated almost 400 million video views since launch, equivalent to more than 170 million hours watched. Its catalogue includes more than 2,000 premium titles spanning reality, crime, fantasy and documentaries.
Asia Express will debut on prima+ on 22 February, with 2 episodes a week and additional bonus content. Prima is positioning the format as its largest travel reality series to date, building on demand for entertainment and reality content. It also confirmed a third season of Zrádci is planned for 2026, alongside a new dating show.
Prima+ is also leaning on early-windowing, offering selected shows and entertainment brands ahead of their linear broadcasts, including bringing The Jan Kraus Show to the service 3 days before transmission.
Prima launched prima+ in February 2023 as it expanded from catch-up into a broader subscription and ad-supported VOD offer.
