Ooredoo Palestine has renewed its multi-year partnership with Finnish BSS/OSS vendor Qvantel as part of its strategy to scale data services and accelerate digital growth.
Qvantel said the renewed agreement follows the successful completion of a full-stack revenue management upgrade for Ooredoo Palestine, which introduced real-time charging and billing capabilities. The upgraded platform incorporates Optiva technology, now part of Qvantel, and is designed to enable faster product launches, stronger data monetisation, and more flexible digital services while maintaining high performance and stability.
The enhanced capabilities strengthen Ooredoo Palestine’s ability to scale its data services and deliver consistent connectivity as demand for high-speed mobile data continues to grow. The operator currently serves around 1.55 million subscribers and recorded approximately 9% year-on-year customer growth in the first half of 2024.
Qvantel said the renewed partnership builds on a long-standing relationship and positions Ooredoo Palestine to further expand its digital services portfolio by leveraging Qvantel’s broader Flex BSS and monetisation suite following the integration of Optiva into the group
