Orange Jordan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC) as a strategic move to strengthen integration between the telecommunications and fintech sectors and support the development of national digital capabilities in Jordan.
The agreement focuses on empowering graduates of the Coding Academy at the Orange Digital Center by providing practical, market-aligned experience through specialized training programs, joint innovation initiatives, applied projects, and direct engagement with the fintech ecosystem.
Orange Jordan CEO Eng. Philippe Mansour said the new initiative builds on the long-standing collaboration between the two entities, including Orange Money. He highlighted that the partnership reinforces Orange Jordan’s commitment to hands-on learning, innovation, and real-market exposure for Coding Academy students, with JoPACC supporting eligible graduates through JOIN Fincubator and BIG by Orange startups. He added that the initiative will accelerate the transformation of technical ideas into real payment solutions, enhance adoption of advanced financial technologies, and contribute to the sustainable growth of Jordan’s digital economy.
JoPACC CEO Maha Bahou expressed pride in the collaboration, noting its importance in creating strong links between graduates and the labor market. She emphasized that empowering young talent is an investment in the future of Jordan’s financial and technology sectors, and confirmed that JOIN Fincubator will continue supporting innovative fintech ideas and scalable projects that strengthen the country’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The partnership builds on the success of the Coding Academy, which has graduated more than 1,020 students to date with an employment rate of 80 percent, demonstrating the tangible impact of Orange Jordan’s initiatives in enhancing youth employability and advancing Jordan’s digital transformation.
