Orange Egypt has signed an exclusive strategic partnership with Qatar’s Qilaa International Group to develop Egypt’s first fully integrated smart tourism ecosystem, aligning with Vision 2030 and aiming to elevate the country’s position as a global tourism leader.
The partnership leverages Orange Egypt’s advanced communication technologies and Qilaa’s digital innovation capabilities to modernize how tourists plan, navigate, and experience Egypt. This collaboration supports the rapid expansion of the tourism sector, driven by major national projects like the Grand Egyptian Museum and increased digital transformation across the country.
A central component of the initiative is WTOUR, Qilaa’s all-in-one smart travel application. The platform enables visitors to seamlessly plan itineraries, explore attractions, book hotels and restaurants, and access exclusive offers enhanced through Orange Egypt’s connectivity solutions.
Qilaa will develop immersive, interactive digital content to showcase Egypt’s cultural, historical, and natural destinations. The effort aims to unify communication, navigation, entertainment, and visitor services into one integrated digital ecosystem—introducing a new era of smart tourism built on convenience, engagement, and innovation.
