Asiacell has announced a major partnership with Google Cloud to bring Google Workspace, Gemini Enterprise, and a suite of AI-powered collaboration tools to businesses and educational institutions throughout Iraq. The agreement makes Asiacell the first telecom operator in the country to offer Google Cloud’s enterprise productivity ecosystem, marking a significant milestone for Iraq’s digital transformation.
Under this collaboration, organizations across the country will gain access to tools such as Google Workspace for Education, Google NotebookLM, and Google Cloud’s advanced AI models designed to enhance communication, streamline workflows, and accelerate innovation. Asiacell said the new offerings will help companies and institutions modernize operations, improve efficiency, and adopt global-standard digital tools.
“Asiacell is committed to driving Iraq’s digital evolution, and this partnership enables us to deliver secure, reliable, and future-ready solutions,” said CEO Amer Sunna. Google Cloud’s Regional General Manager, Ghassan Kosta, emphasized that the collaboration aims to empower Iraqi organizations with transformative AI-driven capabilities.
The announcement was made at MWC Doha 2025, where leaders from Asiacell and Google Cloud held a signing ceremony to formalize the agreement.
