Algeria expands digital customer support with new advanced contact center

Algeria has opened a new advanced joint contact center in the Bani Thor region, developed in partnership with Algeria Post, Mobilis, and Algeria Telecom to strengthen nationwide digital customer support. The center features modern infrastructure designed to streamline citizen services, improve response times, and enhance overall service quality.

The facility will create 400 direct jobs, boosting operational capacity for the three organizations. It also aligns with Algeria’s national strategy to expand its call center industry — targeting 10,000 jobs by 2027, generating $1.2 billion in revenue by 2029, and ultimately creating up to 300,000 jobs across the country.

This initiative positions Algeria as a rising regional competitor in the contact center and digital services market. The Ministry of Post and Wire and Wireless Transport plans to continue investing in modern facilities and workforce development to maintain high service standards and support the country’s digital transformation.
