Yantai Port's Smart Eco-port Digital Transformation Project Wins " Special Award for Smart Cities-Best in Connected City" Excellence Award
Huawei and Shandong's Yantai Port have jointly built a digital management and control platform, establishing a unified data mid-end system that integrates 17 business systems, consolidates 280 core indicators, and registers 166 data assets. This initiative comprehensively realizes enterprise-wide data asset management, visualized operational insights, refined management practices, and intelligent decision support. Since its launch, the platform has delivered significant results: a 15% increase in operational efficiency, an 8% reduction in energy consumption, a 15% decrease in maintenance costs, and a 40% decline in equipment failure rates, injecting robust momentum into the enterprise's high-quality development.
Shenzhen Big Data Resource Management Center's City Data Center Project Wins "Special Award for Smart Cities - Best in Digital Policies " Excellence Award
By building a digital foundation of "1 cloud for the entire city + 1 network + 1 base," the project has reduced the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) from 1.6 to below 1.3, achieving an annual electricity saving of over 20%. Leveraging Huawei CloudOps, more than 1,100 core business systems were seamlessly migrated from the Meilin Data Center to the Bantian City Big Data Center, meeting the safety standard of "zero migration failures and zero data loss." Through the MindOps platform, over 8,000 intelligent computing and general-purpose computing devices are now centrally managed, enabling integrated digital visualized operations and maintenance, which has improved operational efficiency by more than 20%.
China Mobile International Limited Hong Kong Fotan Data Center Project Wins “Best in Sustainability” Excellence Award of Hong Kong
China Mobile International's Hong Kong FoTan Data Center project aims to build the largest next-generation digital infrastructure in Hong Kong. The project utilizes Huawei's BestDC digital platform, enabling modeling to meet the highest level of Building Information Modeling (BIM), which is LOD500. The data center provides server capacity for over 10,000 racks and deploys a modular UPS system. Through an intelligent energy and cooling management center, it achieves an industry-leading annual PUE of less than 1.3, which is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 30%. While delivering powerful computing capabilities, this project also sets a benchmark for green technology development in Hong Kong.
