Bahrain launches mobile postal services to expand accessibility

The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has announced the launch of a new Mobile Postal Services initiative under Bahrain Post, a pioneering move aimed at enhancing and broadening postal services across the kingdom. The project is designed to provide convenient solutions that allow citizens and residents to access postal services without visiting traditional post offices.

Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Haidan, Assistant Undersecretary for Postal Affairs at the Ministry, described the project as a “qualitative leap” in improving customer experience. He emphasized that the initiative offers a comfortable and efficient alternative for completing postal transactions quickly and easily across all governorates, reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to delivering modern services that meet the needs of both individuals and businesses.

He added that the initiative is part of a comprehensive strategy to modernize and develop the postal infrastructure and expand service coverage. The project aligns with the Ministry’s efforts to advance digital transformation, improve service quality, and enhance customer satisfaction. Dr. Al-Haidan affirmed the Ministry’s dedication to continuing initiatives that keep pace with global developments and strengthen service delivery for clients.

The mobile postal units are equipped with the latest systems to provide services across all governorates. The service operates daily from Saturday to Thursday, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., offering customers flexibility and convenience at multiple locations.

Customers wishing to use the service can book an appointment in advance through the Bahrain Post Customer Contact Center at 80001100, via email at enquiry@mtt.gov.bh, through the dedicated service page here, or via WhatsApp at 17341022. Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, and confirmation will be provided through a follow-up call from the Bahrain Post team.
