Korean firm Snack VR looking for partners for Southeast Asia market

South Korean virtual reality (VR) company SG Entertech Co Ltd has announced plans to expand its Snack VR platform across Southeast Asia, seeking local agents, distributors and strategic partners to build a regional network.

The company aims to collaborate with tourism operators, museums, schools, shopping centres and public institutions to introduce its compact, operator-free Snack VR kiosks to wider audiences.

SG Entertech is inviting partnerships across several sectors, including technology distributors, hotel and resort operators, educational institutions, retail centres and government agencies exploring digital transformation.

To support this expansion, the company will showcase a suite of immersive VR content designed for various industries. Among its offerings are the VR Postcard Mailbox for tourism marketing, VR Art Colouring Experience for cultural education and several interactive VR games such as Gunfighting VR, Destiny Battle and Counter Attack.

“While traditional VR arcades face growth challenges due to high capital and operational costs, Snack VR introduces a lightweight model that significantly reduces both,” said Chief Operating Officer Kook Sun Pyo. “The next phase of growth depends on strong local partnerships and we are now welcoming collaboration enquiries for Southeast Asia.”

SG Entertech will showcase its latest VR innovations at the upcoming Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) this October.
