Channel 4 has recorded its biggest-ever streaming day, with 6.9 million views on Tuesday 30 September.
The figure surpasses the broadcaster’s previous high of 6.4 million views set in October 2024.
According to Channel 4, more than 4.5 million views came from a mix of reality, drama, factual and documentary titles including Married At First Sight UK, The Great British Bake Off, Made In Chelsea, Hollyoaks, The Disappearance of Jay Slater, Educating Yorkshire, Lucy Letby: Murder or Mistake, Four In a Bed and Taskmaster.
Chief content officer Ian Katz described the milestone as “a powerful testament to the strength of our Altogether Different line-up – where reality, drama, factual and documentary programming come together to captivate audiences.”
The broadcaster noted the measurement covers viewing via Channel 4’s own app on small and big screens, excluding third-party platforms such as Sky, EE TV and Virgin TV.
