Beeline Uzbekistan boosts connectivity across five key regions

Veon-owned Beeline Uzbekistan claims it has significantly enhanced network quality across five key regions, as demand for digital connectivity continues to rise.

In a statement, the operator said it had focused efforts on the Fergana, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, and Andijan regions. These areas saw record growth in mobile data traffic, with a corresponding increase in base station deployments. In some districts, mobile data usage has surged 25-fold over the past five years.

Beeline reported that the number of base stations had grown by a factor of 23, though it did not disclose the total number in its Uzbekistan network. The operator also expanded coverage to remote areas, installing base stations in less populated locations such as Sarkop, Turan, and Zhumaniazov villages in Beruniy district.

“Our priority is to ensure equal and widespread digital opportunities for all users. That’s why we’re investing in infrastructure and deploying advanced telecom technologies across every region of Uzbekistan. Our strategic goal is to make digital services accessible to every citizen,” said Gediz Sezgin, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Beeline Uzbekistan.
