EDOTCO, Tiger New Energy to roll out green power systems for telecom towers

EDOTCO Bangladesh has signed an agreement with Tiger New Energy Limited to deploy sustainable power systems that drive greener connectivity and extend clean energy access to communities across Bangladesh, said a press release.

This partnership marks a pivotal shift from conventional energy use to integrated renewable energy solutions for telecom infrastructure. It aims not only to ensure uninterrupted telecom services but also to support national sustainability agenda by reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy equity.

EDOTCO Bangladesh country managing director Sunil Isaac said, ‘By integrating clean energy with smart infrastructure, we are enabling sustainable connectivity and real impact for the communities we serve.’

Tiger New Energy co-founder and chief executive officer Nicole Mao added, ‘Our collaboration with EDOTCO is about powering people. These innovative solutions open new pathways to affordable, clean energy, reduce carbon emissions, and help everyday citizens participate in a greener future. This is shared progress in action.’

Through this partnership signed recently, the two companies will pilot innovative services such as battery backup systems, swapping stations and charging station systems, all designed to reduce fossil fuel dependency and extend energy access to the wider community.
