The new version of Crnogorski Telekom’s Smart TV application is now available for Samsung and LG TVs – giving MagentaTV subscribers in Montenegro a new option to watch TV.
The Deutsche Telekom operator says the application can be used on a phone, tablet or computer, with the TV version available for €2 per month – as opposed to the €3.10 chargeable to those with a set-top box. There are further discounts available to subscribers who return the box to rely competly on their Smart TVs.
In all versions are available for Samsung (Tizen 7.0 – soon versions 6.0 and higher; LG (webOS 4.5 and higher); Android TV (version 9.0 and higher) and Apple TV (second generation and higher versions).
Telekom says the new version of the app is ‘significantly better’ than its processor Extra TV with a crystal clear 4K HDR picture and sound quality, 14-day catch-up, over 230 channels, 95 in HD resolution. The viewing experience has been personalised through ThinkAnalytics under the My Content Menu.
MagentaTV supports Dolby Vision (for deep contrasts and vivid colors) and Dolby Atmos (for a cinematic sound experience).
