Saudi Arabia’s GO Telecom has entered into a landmark agreement with the Syrian government to modernize the country’s digital infrastructure. Signed by Syrian Minister of Telecommunications Abdul Salam Haykal and GO Telecom CEO Yahya bin Saleh Al-Mansour, the deal aims to overhaul Syria’s aging communications network, marking one of the first major private sector initiatives following the recent easing of Western sanctions.
Riyadh-based GO Telecom is actively expanding into post-conflict markets by investing strategically in infrastructure projects, supporting Syria’s long road to recovery and digital modernization.
