Zain Iraq, along with its affiliates Horizon Scope Telecom and Next Generation, has reported a robust start to 2025, marking a strong performance in the first quarter.
As part of the broader Zain Group, the company recorded a 13% increase in revenues, reaching $286 million for Q1.
Operational efficiency and steady growth contributed to a 13% rise in EBITDA, which totaled $105 million for the quarter, maintaining a solid margin of 37%. Net profits saw a remarkable jump of 73%, climbing to $26 million—underscoring the company’s improved profitability.
Customer growth also remained a key highlight, with Zain Iraq expanding its user base by 11% to 20.7 million subscribers.
