Telia and Vasaloppet are starting a three-year partnership to both strengthen and develop connectivity along the 90-kilometer Vasaloppet route.
The investment will meet the high demands on capacity, security and reliability that are made when hundreds of thousands of participants, spectators, media and TV viewers gather around one of Sweden's most well-known sporting traditions.
From the start in Sälen to the finish in Mora, Telia will continue to develop network and 5G capacity along the Vasaloppet Arena. The goal is to give participants, visitors, officials, media and TV production a better experience of Sweden's most well-known sporting traditions, even when the load is high.
Within the framework of the partnership, Telia and Vasaloppet will explore new technical solutions for future event and media experiences.
The collaboration combines Vasaloppet's need for reliable connectivity during some of the most intense days of the year, with long-term development of the digital and robust infrastructure in the region.
