Mounir Ammari is an Algerian finance expert and technology entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and chief executive officer of SlickPay, a start-up specializing in digital solutions that simplify payments and money transfers.
Through its mobile application and business-oriented tools, the platform allows users to pay bills, top up mobile phone credit, purchase digital products and manage various subscriptions. It also features a digital wallet that centralizes financial transactions in a single interface.
For in-person purchases, SlickPay offers a QR code payment system that users can authorize through fingerprint recognition or a personal identification code. The platform also allows merchants to send remote payment links, providing an alternative for businesses that do not operate e-commerce websites.
A Suite of Tools for Businesses and Developers
For businesses, SlickPay provides a range of tools to accept online payments, track transactions, manage invoicing and schedule the transfer of collected funds. Merchants can integrate the platform into their applications or websites to automate payment collection.
SlickPay also provides application programming interfaces (APIs) that allow developers to connect its services to other software systems. To secure these transactions, the company uses data encryption and biometric authentication.
Alongside SlickPay, Ammari serves as co-founder and CEO of Connectya, a company established in 2025 to develop digital products. He also holds the position of chief operating officer at Azimut, a company specializing in auditing, consulting, accounting and technology development. In addition, he works as an auditor and tax specialist at Grant Thornton Algeria, an accounting and professional services firm.
Ammari holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Algiers, which he obtained in 2010. He continued his studies in 2011, earning a postgraduate specialized diploma (DESS) in accounting expertise from the Institut des Hautes Études Commerciales.
