Deutsche Telekom has expanded the FAST Channel portfolio on its MagentaTV platform in Germany by seven channels, bringing the total number of FAST services available to 28.
The additions include three channels from media company High View – ARD Plus Krimi, ARD Plus Lindenstraße and Just Cooking – as well as wedotv Sports and wedotv True Stories from free streaming network wedotv. The remaining two additions are Strongman Champions League and Moviedome Family.
A Deutsche Telekom spokesperson confirmed the additions to Broadband TV News.
ARD Plus Krimi focuses on crime series and investigations, while ARD Plus Lindenstraße brings episodes of the long-running German television series to the FAST line-up. Just Cooking targets food and cooking enthusiasts.
wedotv Sports offers sports programming across different disciplines, while wedotv True Stories focuses on documentaries and factual programming. Strongman Champions League features competitive strength sports, and Moviedome Family targets family audiences with films.
The new FAST channels are available in the MagentaTV EPG in the 145-185 range.
