Aurora Networks, a business of Vistance Networks, a global provider of intelligent network solutions, and Kaltura, the Agentic Digital Experience company, announced the deployment of a new Cloud TV platform at Bouygues Telecom, a global French telecommunications and digital services operator.
Bouygues Telecom is deploying the Kaltura Cloud TV platform as part of an on-going project to modernize the company’s legacy video platforms and support next-generation, state-of-the-art IPTV streaming options for its customers.
Aurora Networks™ acted as the lead systems integrator on the project, providing consulting, design, project management, integration, and custom software development to implement the solution.
The project enables Bouygues Telecom to gather the video backend functions on a single, unified platform. Kaltura Cloud TV is currently live, providing best-in-class IPTV experiences to all Bouygues Telecom TV viewers across STBs, Mobile and Smart TVs. Bouygues Telecom currently has 5.5 million fixed network customers and 27.4 million mobile customers.
The Kaltura Cloud TV integration project continues Aurora Networks 18 years collaboration with Bouygues Telecom. This project leverages the Aurora Networks Video Professional Services team’s IP Video Migration services, which helps video service providers profitably transition to IP video.
In addition to the Systems Integration Services provided to Bouygues Telecom, Aurora Networks Video Systems provides to its customers flexible ad insertion and IP video solutions—helping video service providers generate revenue from advanced advertising and personalize the user experience. As a leader in IP Video Ad Insertion, Aurora Networks delivers more than 60 billion ads per year across millions of video subscribers.
