MyRepublic will move all of its 4G mobile subscribers onto StarHub’s network under an expanded partnership.
The migration builds on the companies’ existing 5G mobile virtual network operator partnership established in 2022 and StarHub's acquisition of MyRepublic Broadband last year.
In a joint statement, both groups said MyRepublic mobile customers will continue to access StarHub’s nationwide 4G and 5G networks during the transition.
StarHub CEO Nikhil Eapen said the arrangement would increase the company’s mobile revenue market share and strengthen its multi-brand strategy across mobile and broadband services.
"With this step, we further extend material lead in revenue market share as Singapore's strong number two mobile operator,” Eapen said. "We have also taken another step toward leading the ongoing consolidation of Singapore's telecommunications market."
