Warner Bros. Discovery will stream every match from The Championships, Wimbledon live on HBO Max across 11 European markets, while extending its coverage through Eurosport and TNT Sports.
Subscribers in Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Iceland, the Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Slovakia and Sweden will have access to every match from all 18 courts on HBO Max. Eurosport will provide 218 hours of live television coverage across Europe, with additional local programming in Romania.
In the UK, TNT Sports will complement the BBC’s live coverage with a nightly 90-minute highlights and features programme from the All England Club throughout the first 12 days of the tournament. The broadcaster will also show the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Singles Finals live, with highlights available on demand via HBO Max.
Warner Bros. Discovery is also enhancing the streaming experience with features including Key Moments, allowing viewers to jump directly to pivotal points in matches, Multi-view for watching up to four courts simultaneously, selectable commentary languages, and Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos coverage from selected courts.
Presenter Rachel Stringer returns to lead coverage alongside former British No.1 Johanna Konta, providing analysis and behind-the-scenes reporting from SW19.
Scott Young, EVP of WBD Sports Europe, said HBO Max offered “the ultimate tennis experience”, adding that the company’s multi-platform approach combined streaming innovation with Eurosport’s long-established tennis coverage and new UK programming on TNT Sports.
The broadcaster said its coverage follows record engagement during this year’s Roland-Garros tournament, with streaming audiences on HBO Max up 5% year-on-year and viewing hours increasing by 20%.
The Championships begin on 29 June, with the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Singles Finals taking place on 11 and 12 July respectively.
