Omantel Innovation Labs continues its efforts to support the cybersecurity ecosystem and technology entrepreneurship in the Sultanate through specialized initiatives and programs focused on empowering tech startups and innovators, while fostering digital innovation that supports Oman’s digital transformation goals.
As part of these efforts, Omantel Innovation Labs organized the “Cybersecurity Startup Bootcamp,” bringing together more than 80 participants representing 32 teams, including over 10 early-stage startups, with the aim of accelerating the development of secure, scalable, and investment-ready cybersecurity ventures in Oman.
The bootcamp featured a combination of expert-led cybersecurity sessions, startup development workshops, mentorship, and business support, enabling participants to transform innovative ideas into commercially viable solutions. Attendees also participated in market validation exercises, networking opportunities, and practical training designed to strengthen Oman’s cybersecurity and digital innovation ecosystem.
The program aimed to support the growth of cybersecurity-focused startups in Oman by equipping founders with both cybersecurity expertise and entrepreneurial capabilities. It also sought to encourage innovation aligned with evolving market and industry needs, while contributing to Oman Vision 2040 through the advancement of the national innovation and cybersecurity landscape.
